I'm going to state the obvious here: men and women are SOOOO different. I was reminded of that this morning when I reminded Emily of our 1st year of marriage. I thought it was a nice, easy year but she told me, "That was such a haaaard and looooong year." I tried to decipher something positive out of that statement but I couldn't find it. I personally thought it was a fine year. But it was a reminder to me of the necessity of husbands and wives constantly working together to better understand each other. A counselor once said, "Marriages don't break up because of big blow outs, but small leaks." We're continuing our series "Fireproof Your Marriage" on Sunday. Pray now that God will teach you a valuable marriage lesson. Also, don't forget to demonstrate love to your spouse each day this week!
